Arguing that the results of the elections held on February 8 were manipulated and tampered with, the party brought its appeal before the Election Tribunal at the Islamabad High Court.

The Election Tribunal has been petitioned to nullify the successful declarations of MNAs from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz by PTI candidates in Islamabad, including Aamir Mughal from NA-46, Shoaib Shaheen from NA-47, and Ali Bukhari from NA-48.

Citing purported electoral tampering, some PTI contenders have contested the results on multiple venues.

The results of the elections in PK-73 and PK-79 were contested before the electoral tribunal on April 6 by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Details reveal that Ali Zaman and Taimur Saleem Jhagra of the PTI contested the outcomes of the PK-73 and PK-79 polls. Although the RO pronounced their opponents the victors in the aforementioned Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly constituencies on Form 47, the PTI leaders in their plea insisted that they were winning in accordance with Form 45.

Forms 45 and 46 have distinct presiding officer signatures. In order for ECP to compile the results of PK-73 and 79 in accordance with Form 45, the tribunal has proposed to hear the plea.
