Mahira Khan says her husband Salim puts up with THIS about her.

Mahira Khan said in a recent Women’s Day special video featuring her digital magazine Mashion that the most bizarre rumor she has heard about herself had to do with her pregnancy. She recollected and explained, “It’s not true. Maybe it’s because I’ve gained weight, but I also left a Netflix series and a big movie. I’m not sure where they came from.”

“I hate that he is not expressive, I tolerate [the fact that] the minute he wakes up, he wants the music on, and I like to listen to the sound of birds and nature,” the “Aik Thi Nigar” singer added, listing all the qualities of her spouse that she loves, hates, and tolerates.

“I want to tell all the women out there that it’s okay for your double chin to show, and for you to have stretch marks, and it’s okay if you’re growing and if you’re not looking as good as people look when they have three filters on them,” Khan said at the end of the video in honor of International Women’s Day. A message to all women—and to myself as well—is to quit comparing oneself to other people because you are already wonderful.

She underlined, “Secondly, it is extremely important for a woman to be financially independent; there is nothing better.” “Whatever it is, I do believe that really helps that you can start something from home or go and work wherever you want.”

Why does Sarwat Gilani want to take on fewer acting roles?

Despite having a stellar body of work to her credit, actor Sarwat Gilani recently discussed why she hasn’t been seen on TV in an appearance on a comedy show on a private TV channel.

She responded, “I think one should work hard but with less.”

“I really appreciate all of the love, respect, and affection that my audience has shown me,” Gilani went on. But please wait for me, I want my audience. I refuse to portray every character for them, be it Sakina, Shakeela, or Zulekha. What project I have coming up next is what I want people to be excited about.

“I’ve received feedback from fans frequently saying that they stop to watch me on screen because they think I must have picked a worthwhile project to work on,” the ‘Khasara’ actor continued.

Notably, Gilani last appeared in “Joyland,” the opening feature film from Pakistan that screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2022, directed by Saim Sadiq.

Concurrently, she welcomed a baby girl into her family in December of last year, marking her third child with spouse Fahad Mirza.

I have to stop doing dramas and films. Momina Iqbal is leaving the entertainment industry.

Actor Momina Iqbal took to her Instagram stories earlier this week to post a few videos in which she humorously expressed her disappointment with the social media system, which she believes is a crucial factor in determining an actor’s value. She added that because she doesn’t have enough followers on her account, she won’t be given the opportunity to perform and should give up on the role.

With only one million Instagram followers, Iqbal posted, “I must not do any more dramas or films.”

Then she said, “People with less than a million Instagram followers shouldn’t work on dramas or films. The situation gets worse if they work for a long time yet still don’t have many social media followers.

“I have received at least 10 requests from people since this morning stating that I only have one million followers, which is a respectable amount and I need to put in more effort,” the “Ehsaan Faramosh” actor continued. Additionally, she bemoaned the fact that having a large following on social media accounts is more important than having a portfolio or experience.

“Don’t offer me any acting projects from now on because I have only a million followers,” Iqbal sarcastically stated, continuing to address the creators. I am considering giving up acting and pursuing something more significant in life, such as vlogging.

About her career, Iqbal was most recognised for her portrayal of Falak in the drama series “Ehsaan Faramosh,” which also starred Salman Saeed, Humayun Ashraf, and Mashal Khan. In the phenomenon drama “Samjhota,” she also had a major role.
