Kate Middleton, who is touring the Caribbean with husband Prince William, won hearts in Jamaica despite protests after she stepped out wearing a bangle from a local designer on her second day in the country, reported The Daily Mail.

Kate and William arrived in Jamaica on Tuesday, March 22, with the Duchess of Cambridge wearing a custom Roksanda dress in yellow of Jamaica’s flag.

However, it was her outfit for the trip to the Trench Town Culture Yard Museum that made waves, especially among the Jamaican community, and for good reason.

Kate was seen rocking a striped coral and turquoise dress with wedges on her feet and an eye-catching bangle on her arm by Jamaican designer Lashawndla Bailey-Miller.
