Details indicate that after the province saw extremely heavy rains, Balochistan issued a rain and urban flooding emergency.

Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti of Balochistan chaired a meeting with Divisional Commissioners and PDMA representatives, and he expressed his dismay at not responding to the public complaints.

On the third day of the province’s rainy spell, the Met Office predicted rainfall in more than 25 districts of Balochistan yesterday.

Details show that at least ten people have died as a result of rain-related mishaps, roof collapses, and lightning strikes.

The rainstorm in Pishin caused damage to fifteen houses, according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).

“Flash floods brought down the roads leading to Hanna Orak and Chashma Achozai, but they are now open again,” the PDMA said.

The water level at Bolan Pass’s Pinjra Pull Point was reported by PDMA.

Visitors are urged to refrain from making needless travel arrangements by the disaster management authority. The cars that were stuck in the floods at Chashma Achozai have been rescued, according to the statement. Many others have reportedly been saved in Pishin, according to PDMA.

Lightning struck and killed a man and two children yesterday in Quetta, Chaman Chagai, Nushki, Dera Bugti, Sorab, Kohlu, and Khuzdar, among other districts of Balochistan hit by heavy rains.
