KARACHI: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar recently offered a few light-hearted tips for dealing with situations involving familial and social life, saying that one should marry the woman they like even at the age of 82.

Casually responding to questions related to daily life situations on a social media platform on the occasion of New Year, PM Kakar was asked if a 52-year-old person should marry a woman of his choice.

At this, Kakar responded: “Of course, even if you are 82, do consider it.”

When another person asked what they should do if they had a crazy mother-in-law, the prime minister said he would probably have to go on a crisis management course.

Responding to another query about what one should do if one wanted to impress someone and he had no money, the interim prime minister said he had never tried in his life to impress anybody, but he had always been impressed by many others.

In reply to a question involving a predicament of getting a really good job abroad and having to leave one’s love, Kakar said: “I guess you get love by chance and job according to your ability. You will have the chance to have the job according to your ability. Don’t miss the chance.”

“Are girls attracted to men with political power” was another question he was asked to answer.

The PM replied: “It [the question] should be asked by the girls rather than by myself, but I would presume, maybe yes or I don’t know. I really don’t know the answer.”
