The government provides information about the security measures given to the PTI founder while he is in custody.

General Advocate Punjab Khalid Ishaq provided the court with security details.

“There are seven cells in the jail reserved for him; the PTI founder is being kept in one cell, and six other cells surrounding it have also been allocated for him,” Attorney General Punjab said the court.

The advocate general went on, “Adiala Jail used to have one security man for every ten prisoners, but 14 security personnel have been deployed for the PTI founder.”

A government lawyer claimed, “The PTI founder’s meals come from a special kitchen, and nothing cook for any other person in this kitchen.”

“Based on what they have told the court, we are satisfied,” the petitioner’s attorney stated. In addition, he begged to withdraw the petition.

The court postponed the case’s next hearing until April 16.

September 2024 had a 44-month low of 6.9 percent consumer price index inflation, down from 31.4 percent the year before.
